A summary of the results of an evaluation is known as an assessment report. It is used to improve internal processes by highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of an organisation. It is usually written by an external party but it is also compiled internally. Assessments are often undertaken as part of training and development programmes or as part of a wider performance review of the company.
Assessment reports should clearly describe what the results of the assessment and the actions implemented as a result of these results. They should be easy-to-read and contain a mix of text and images to convey information. They must also take the company’s design guidelines into consideration in order to ensure they are well-presented and align with the corporate brand.
Assessing a program is not about determining if students have met the requirements for admission however, it is more about determining how they have progressed through time and if the curriculum has succeeded in enhancing the student’s outcomes. This can be proved by submitting an annual academic program assessment report. These reports provide evidence that the programs are evaluating and enhancing their curriculum. They also demonstrate continuous improvement.
